Quick answer

bmiMD is an online GLP-1 program that prescribes compounded medication only: compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide. Plans start at $159 a month. We rate it 8.4/10 (Good). It does not name the compounding pharmacy that fills its prescriptions, so the pharmacy's record can't be checked. It ships to all 50 states. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. No FDA warning letter is on file for bmiMD as of Oct 26, 2026.

bmiMD is an online program that sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide with the drug, the visit and the shipping in one monthly price. It suits people who want one flat price at every dose and a fast first visit.

We rate it 8.4 out of 10, tier Good. The plan price covers the provider, the medication and the shipping, and you can cancel the monthly plan before any renewal. But bmiMD names no pharmacy.

The catch is the headline. The $119 and $179 rates are 12-month plans; month to month you pay $159 or $249.

No FDA warning letter is on file for bmiMD in the FDA’s published warning-letter list as of Oct 26, 2026. bmiMD doesn't name its compounding pharmacy, so the pharmacy can't be cross-checked.

What is bmiMD?

bmiMD is an online, subscription-based weight-loss program that sells compounded GLP-1 injections. The medication, the telehealth visit and the delivery are bundled into one monthly price.

Here is the process. You take an online quiz and send in an intake form. A board-certified physician reviews it in a telehealth consult, usually the same day. If a GLP-1 prescription is right for you, the physician writes it. Your medication ships "from a US-based licensed partner pharmacy" straight to your door. Refills arrive the same way on the subscription.

The menu has two compounded GLP-1 injections: semaglutide and tirzepatide. Each also comes as a microdose program. There is no brand-name option. bmiMD also sells metformin and a MIC plus B12 injection on separate pages of its website. bmiMD serves all 50 states.

Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription, and they are not FDA-approved; the safety section explains what that means. bmiMD has no FDA warning letter on file, but it doesn't name its pharmacy, so the pharmacy's record can't be checked.

For more on the drugs themselves, read our pages on semaglutide and tirzepatide.

Can you trust bmiMD?

bmiMD is a licensed telehealth service with board-certified physicians, flat public prices and a written refund policy. It has no FDA warning letters and no open flags. One gap: it doesn't name the compounding pharmacy it uses, so you can't check who makes your drug.

bmiMD names no pharmacy on any page we read. It doesn't say what type of pharmacy fills the order either: a compounding pharmacy that makes a drug for one named patient under a state board, or an outsourcing facility that registers with the FDA. With no name, there is no FDA register entry to look up.

The product pages clearly list the drugs. Each one names the molecule, the injection route and the word "compounded" in its title.

bmiMD costs $159 a month all-in for compounded semaglutide on the month-to-month plan. The drug, the visit and the shipping are included, with no additional fee.

Tirzepatide costs $249 a month on the same plan. There is no separate membership, consultation or shipping fee. bmiMD does not bill insurance. Three months at the monthly semaglutide rate totals $477, with no additional fees.

The company home page advertises the low cost of the 12-month subscription: semaglutide at $119 a month and tirzepatide at $179.

The price includes the drug at any dose, the physician visit (and prescription, if appropriate), messaging and free shipping. It does not include a brand-name pen such as Zepbound, or the name of the pharmacy.

On the monthly plan, bmiMD ranks 9 out of the 20 compounded programs in its group, against a median of $168 a month.

bmiMD semaglutide price

bmiMD semaglutide costs $159 a month on the month-to-month plan. The price drops as the plan gets longer. It is $149 a month on a 3-month plan. It is $129 a month on a 6-month plan. It is $119 a month on a 12-month plan, which is the price the home page advertises.

The price is the same at every dose, so it does not climb as your provider raises your prescription strength. Shipping is free on every subscription order. A microdose program for semaglutide has its own page. Three months on this monthly plan total $477.

bmiMD tirzepatide price

bmiMD tirzepatide costs $249 a month on the month-to-month plan. It is $229 a month on a 3-month plan. It is $189 a month on a 6-month plan. It is $179 a month on a 12-month plan, which is the rate the home page advertises.

As with semaglutide, the price stays the same as your dose increases, and there is no membership or shipping fee. A tirzepatide microdose program is also available. The gap between the monthly and the 12-month rate is the reason to read the fine print before you pick a plan.

What to watch

The $119 and $179 headline rates need a 12-month plan. Month to month costs $159 and $249.

Does bmiMD have a discount code?

No. The pages we reviewed show no public coupon, discount or promo code for bmiMD. The discount comes from choosing a longer plan.

The 12-month plan is the best value: $119 a month for semaglutide against $159 month to month. For tirzepatide it is $179 against $249. The 3-month and 6-month plans sit in between.

One page says "Starting as low as $99 for your first month." The plan grid on the product pages shows no such rate, so treat $159 as the current price until checkout shows you yours. We cannot confirm coupon codes from sites bmiMD does not publish.

How does bmiMD work?

The care team provides a usually same-day telehealth consult and a messaging service. bmiMD describes no scheduled follow-up visits. A board-certified physician does the first consult. The medication usually ships in 3-5 business days after the physician approves it.

After that, you message your provider "to discuss side effects and medication dosage" when you need to. Members get "instant access to chat with your board-certified physician or a customer service team member 24/7" for refills and medication questions. There is no app to install. The account and checkout are managed on bmiMD's website.

You're only charged once a provider approves treatment. The refund page says "If a provider does not approve treatment, we release the hold and you are not charged." bmiMD does not state whether it asks for labs, or how often a doctor follows up.

Is bmiMD safe? FDA status and warning letters

bmiMD has no FDA warning letter and no open flag on its record. But because it doesn't name its compounding pharmacy, we can't check the pharmacy's record.

The bigger question with any compounded program is the drug itself. Compounded GLP-1s are prepared by a pharmacy to a prescription. They are not FDA-approved: the FDA doesn't review their safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold, and they are not the same as Wegovy or Zepbound. Formulas can differ from one pharmacy to the next, and some add ingredients such as vitamin B12. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state boards of pharmacy; outsourcing facilities (503B) also register with the FDA and are inspected by it. The FDA can issue warning letters when either breaks rules on safety or sterility.

Without a pharmacy name, you can't check who made yours. Ask bmiMD which pharmacy fills your order before your first shipment.

For side effects, doses and who should not take these drugs, read our semaglutide and tirzepatide pages, which quote the FDA labels.

How to cancel bmiMD

Cancellation
Cancel anytime
Money-back guarantee
No charge if a provider doesn't approve treatment. A non-refundable $100 intake processing fee applies if you ask to cancel after you submit your intake form, and multi-month plans are non-refundable once the first order goes to the pharmacy.

You can cancel a month-to-month plan at any time. To stop the next renewal, cancel by 11:59 p.m. ET at least 7 days before your renewal date; the plan then ends after the current billing period. Multi-month plans are a real commitment: once your first order goes to the pharmacy, payments are non-refundable if you cancel, pause or aren't happy with results. You can take the remaining shipments or turn their value into account credit. The plan runs to the end of the term you paid for, and cancelling only turns off the renewal.

Cancel in your account, under Account > Subscription. The refund page also lists email, but the terms say a request by email does not cancel a subscription.

If a provider doesn't approve treatment, you aren't charged. But if you ask to cancel after you submit your intake form, bmiMD charges a one-time, non-refundable $100 intake processing fee. Its terms add that once a provider begins reviewing your intake, the first order can't be cancelled.

Timing is everything. If you're unsure, decide before you submit the intake form, not after. And don't prepay a multi-month plan for the advertised rate unless you plan to stay on the medication for the full term. If you have side effects, talk to your provider.

What customers say about bmiMD

bmiMD publishes 19 testimonials on its own testimonials page. Some are about the problem, not the program: weight gain after menopause and a metabolism that slowed despite healthy eating. Others are about the service. One says "The pricing is fair, and the shipping is on time and fast." Several report how much weight the writer lost; we don't repeat those figures, because one person's result doesn't show how well a program works.

The website claims 80,000+ members and a 4.9-star average but does not say how those figures are gathered.

This site collects no independent reviews. Read the cost and cancel sections above for what you will pay and what you sign.
